Ubuntu: Cannot login to my desktop session

If it happens that after tryying to login from the desktop screen, look authorities for the following file:

ls -l /home/[user]/.Xauthority

Ensure that the user is the owner of the file and has full r/w rights.

It can happen after deinstalling vnc4server.
